Sioux Falls Husband, Wife Arrested with 10 Pounds of Marijuana Worth Over $18,000
A husband and wife are charged after a large drug bust in Sioux Falls Wednesday evening.
Information Officer Sam Clemens says the arrests stem from an investigation that began with a tip to the Sioux Falls Area Drug Task Force in June.
Clemens says detectives stopped a vehicle and later searched a home on South Kingswood Way, leading to the arrests of Michael Glenn Moyer and Rachael Marie Moyer, both 34 years of age and both from Sioux Falls:
Clemens says the charges against both Moyers include possession of one to ten pounds of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute and manufacture of a controlled substance. He says the marijuana alone has a street value of $18,000.
