What's in the survey?
The survey, which takes about 20 minutes to complete, asks residents’ opinions in ten central areas:
- Economy
- Mobility
- Community Design
- Utilities
- Safety
- Natural Environment
- Parks and Recreation
- Health and Wellness
- Education, Arts, and Culture
- Inclusivity and Engagement
Partnering with Polco, the city uses the responses collected to track changes and make improvements that matter most to residents.
Looking back
According to city officials, some of the key takeaways from the 2023 survey included:
- The local economy remained strong as residents appreciate Sioux Falls’ businesses and work climate
- Residents share a growing concern regarding affordability.
- Sioux Falls residents continued to experience a high quality of life and engagement with their community.
Survey results are completely confidential. The survey will close on Friday, October 24, with results posted in December.
