Water Main Break Floods Empire Mall Parking Lot [PICS]
There was a severe water main break near the Empire Mall parking lot on Friday afternoon. The water main break was at the intersection of W 49th Street and S Louise Avenue.
At the timeMall security and the Sioux Falls Police Dept. are on hand directing traffic and keeping cars from driving through flooded portions of the lot.

Specifically, the affected area was on the south side of JC Penney running all the way to Crunch Fitness. The Burger King lot was extremely icy with running water as well.
A plow was spotted on Louise Avenue shortly after 4 pm clearing water and slush from the curb areas.
