Second Neil Young Album Of The Year Coming Next Month

Neil Young fans are in luck this year, with not one but two Crazy Horse releases in 2012. Coming on October 30th is the new Psychedelic Pill collection, which features eight new songs, plus a bonus track. The double-CD is and triple-vinyl set is available for pre-order -- with the vinyl edition coming on November 23rd. As with Young and Crazy Horse's June release, Americana, full-length videos for each of the songs will be available for viewing and purchase. A "recommended high-resolution 24/192 full-fidelity version" of Psychedelic Pill will be released on Blu-ray and will include all the videos.

Longtime friend and collaborator David Crosby says that Young's moral integrity has always stood side-by-side with his talent: "That's basically the deal. I think it's one of the things that I've always admired about him, is that right, wrong or indifferent, he continues to grow. And I think that's always been something that I've always wanted to do and continue to do."
