Sammy Hagar-Montrose Without Montrose

Sammy Hagar hit the studio last week with the surviving members of Montrose -- drummer Denny Carmassi and bassist Bill Church. He posted a photo of the three on Facebook with the caption, "Denny and Bill in town. We recorded some new music last week. It was amazing. We still have that Montrose chemistry. Keep ya all posted."

The band's founding member, Ronnie Montrose, killed himself a year ago yesterday, Sunday, March 3rd, 2012.
