The three members of Rush put their hands in cement and were enshrined on Hollywood's Rockwalk on Tuesday. With singer-bassist Geddy Lee reportedly suffering from laryngitis and drummer Neil Peart characteristically mute, only guitarist Alex Lifeson spoke at the ceremony and then only to say a quick thank you and make a couple of jokes.

Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson's entire speech at their Hollywood's Rockwalk induction on Tuesday:

"On behalf of Geddy and Neil, I'm great. Thank you so much for your support and thank you for being here today and you're really lucky we're here. I mean, we're really lucky we're here. Thank you very, very much."

Although the induction took place inside Guitar Center on Sunset Boulevard, the handprints will soon become a part of the sidewalk in front of the store. It's the second time that Rush has been honored in Hollywood. They got their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in June 2010.
