The Rolling Stones rocked London's O2 Arena last night, in a near identical set to Sundaynight's (November 25th) show. Apart from a few setlist switches, the show featured the band tackling their 1965 classics "The Last Time" and "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" and the 1966 favorite "Lady Jane." Florence Welch of Florence & The Machine joined the band for "Gimme Shelter" and Eric Clapton made a cameo during the blues workout, "Champagne And Reefer." Once again, former Stones Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor came out for separate star turns. Nakedeye-online.com posted that before the show, a video of longtime friend and fan Pete Townshend was shown, singing the band's praises.

Unlike 50 years ago when the Stones took the stage and Keith Richards was panicked that the exterior pickup in his one and only guitar would stay connected, he now switches guitars nearly a dozen times during a concert. Richards explained the difference between his sound and other guitarists: "99 percent of the time, it's just taking the string off. And there might be a difference on the level how high the strings are against the frets; you might lower that more than you would on a six-string -- I'm still learning. But that's the great thing about guitar -- you'll never stop learning the damn thing. There's always more room to maneuver. I mean, I'm not a third of the way through."
