Rod Stewart Extends Vegas Stay

Rod Stewart is extending his residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Eight summer dates have been added, according to Las Vegas Weekly. Tickets for the shows -- on July 20th, 21st, 24th, 27th, 28th and 31st, and August 3rd and 4th -- go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster. The high-energy shows at the casino's Colosseum are designed so that no fan is more than 120 feet from the stage.

Rod will also spend much of April touring with Steve Winwood. His featured dates include April 12th at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center, April 19th at Madison Square Garden in New York and April 25th at the Palace of Auburn Hills, just outside Detroit.
