Remember the Beatles Anthology? It had a 'reunion' track called Now and Then which was written by John Lennon in the late 70's and given to McCartney by Yoko Ono along with Free As A Bird  and Real Love for consideration as a reunion track. They only laid in a drum track because of a 'buzz' on the track that they couldn't overcome. George Harrison wanted to scrap plans for the track.

The surviving Beatles were working with Jeff Lynne of ELO fame on the record and during an interview for Mr Blue Sky, the new Lynne documentary, McCartney says that the song has stayed in his head and he plans on getting together with Lynne to finally complete it.
