Paul Rodgers Working on Solo Record

In addition to getting ready for Bad Company’s 40th anniversary tour this summer, singer Paul Rodgers has been recording in Memphis. “We recorded some soul tracks,” says Rodgers. “We’re gonna try and get those out before the end of this year.”

The last solo release from Rodgers was the 2011 song “With Our Love,” with all the proceeds going to horse charities. The Bad Company tour, with Lynyrd Skynyrd sharing the bill, starts June 20th in Auburn, Washington.
