Out today (November 27th) is the new Paul McCartney collection -- Kisses On The Bottom - Complete Kisses. The set features McCartney's recent Top 10 standards album, Kisses On The Bottom, alongside the entire 13 songs as featured in his Live From Capitol Studios' concert performance -- along with four bonus tracks, including the Kisses sessions outtake, "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)." Other bonus tracks include a previously unreleased version of "My Valentine" arranged by Johnny Mandel alongside the evergreen "My One And Only Love" and a cover of McCartney's 1979 Wings favorite "Baby's Request" -- which he had originally written with the Mills Brothers in mind.

McCartney says that Kisses On The Bottom is in a way, a love letter to his extended family back in Liverpool: ["The idea started because on of my fondest memories from when I was a kid was the New Year's Eve sing-along. Y'know, in Liverpool, that was really big in our family. My dad was the guy that played the piano at the New Year's Eve do's. You'd roll the carpet back and you'd get the nice kick-back of the linoleum, and the girls would all sit around, the ladies, all the aunts and that, with their 'gin and it' 'rum and black' and they'd all sit around slowly getting well-oiled and they'd sing all night."] SOUNDCUE (:27 OC: . . . sing all night)

The tracklisting for McCartney's Live From Capitol Studios bonus disc is: "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Write Myself A Letter," "Home (When Shadows Fall)," "It's Only A Paper Moon," "More I Cannot Wish You," "The Glory Of Love," "We Three (My Echo, My Shadow And Me)," "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate The Positive," "My Valentine," "Always," "My Very Good Friend The Milkman," "Bye Bye Blackbird," "Get Yourself Another Fool," and "My One And Only Love."
