Night Ranger Rolling Out Midwest Dates
Classic rockers Night Ranger are beginning to map out tour stops for 2020 and it looks like a few midwest shows are in order.
- February 8 - Minneapolis, MN - Pantages Theatre
- May 23 - Boone, IA - Boone River Valley Festival
- July 17 - Walker, MN - Moondance Jammin Country Fest
Back in 2017, Night Ranger released their latest studio set, Don't Let Up, through the Frontiers imprint. The self-produced album was the band's followup to 2014's fan-favorite, High Road.
Bassist Jack Blades told Pulse of Radio that even after all these years, he and drummer Kelly Keagy are still the best of friends both on and off the stage:
“Well, Kelly and I, it’s pretty funny with Kelly, because we hang out all the time on the road. Kelly and I are the ones, that, like, y’know, you wake up in the morning after a long bus ride (and) I’ll get up at nine or 10, and we’re texting each other -- ‘Coffee. Starbucks. Where is it? Let’s go.’ I mean, we’re always like, 'Hey -- let’s go out and look in some junk shops, let’s hit some antique shops, let’s do this. . . Hey, you wanna take a walk? Let's go outside, let’s breathe some air.’ Kelly and I do everything together, I mean, on the road. We’re pretty much brothers to the bone. As silly as that sounds, that’s still the way it is, and I think it’s really fortunate that it’s that way.”
Night Ranger will always be best remembered for their string of Top 40 hits -- 1983’s “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me”, 1984’s “Sister Christian”, “When You Close Your Eyes”, 1985’s “Sentimental Street”, “Four In The Morning (I Can’t Take Anymore)”, and “Goodbye”.
Night Ranger most recently performed in Sioux Falls for Hot Harley Nights in 2019.
