As a kid, I always watched the MLB All Star Game and have so many memories from doing so.

The one moment that sticks out though to me as the most memorable comes just a few years ago in Minneapolis during the 2014 MLB All Star Game.

Target Field played host that year and Derek Jeter delivered once again.

Over his career he made 13 All Star Games prior to the one in Minneapolis but it was his 14th that meant the most to me.

From the pregame celebration to the moment he came out for the final time in a All Star Game, it was a night no one could forget.

Twins fans have been notorious Yankee haters and I've heard the boos rain down from the stands when Jeter would play the Twins but that night, it was all cheers.

A standing ovation accompanied the loud cheers and if you didn't get chills, then you weren't alive.

Not to mention the fact that Jeter delivered on the field that night, netting two hits as well.

There have been so many great moments at All Star Games but Derek Jeter's final appearance in one takes the cake for me as the most memorable.
