Mike Reno has been fronting Loverboy for 34 years, but he says all it takes is hitting the cowbell three times to start 'Working For The Weekend' and seeing the crowd raise their arms and be ready to sing along and he is ready to rock and roll again.

Reno is in town for RibFest on Thursday but decided to come to Sioux Falls a little early so he and Chuck Brennan, founder of the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy which will benefit from this years festival, stopped by the B102.7 studios Tuesday to talk to Crash about Loverboy's legacy, their best gig ever, the importance of facilities like the Academy for the future of rock and roll.

Reno is a genuinely nice rock star, who enjoys talking to fans and loves to sing all the hits like 'Turn Me Loose', 'When It's Over', 'Hot Girls in Love' and all the rest. Take a listen to the interview below.

Tickets for Thursday night with Loverboy, April Wine, Honeymoon Suite and Helix are just $10. Or you can get a full weekend pass for just $30. Tickets are available at the Arena box office and all ticketmaster locations and will be available at the gates at the WH Lyon Fairgrounds.

We know you've got plenty of RibFest questions, you can get them answered here.
