Memorial Walk for Falls Park Hero Friday

A Memorial Walk and picnic will be held in Falls Park in Sioux Falls this Friday (June 7) in honor of a man who lost his life this spring trying to save a little boy who had fallen in the river.

Lyle Eagle Tail lost his life in March when he jumped in the river trying to help save 6-year old Garrett Wallace who had fallen in. The little boy survived. Eagle Tail and Wallace's sister Madison also perished trying to save her brother.

The walk and picnic will begin at 10am Friday morning.
