Man Starts Kickstarter Campaign to Buy a Burrito, and it WORKED
Kickstarter has been used successfully by bands, filmmakers and other creative people as a way to fund their projects, but a Chicago man REALLY wanted a burrito, so he started a kickstarter to raise the eight bucks, and ended up getting enough pledges to buy more than one!
The Chicago man didn't want contributors to think he was only interested in a free lunch, so he wrote a lengthy proposal explaining how he'd not only eat the the burrito, but scientifically "chart its deliciousness" and post the results online. He even posted a video detailing the scientific merits of the chicken burrito.
Now, with an additional $175 in his account, he intends to file a report on each of the 24 possible versions of the burrito served up at his local Chipotle.
Genius. Pure genius.
