These seven cities here in Minnesota have just been recognized for setting the gold standard when it comes to quality of life.

Minnesota is, of course, the Land of 10,000 Lakes, but in addition to those pristine bodies of water, we're also known for having a high quality of life, right? We're routinely noted as a state where we have a high quality of education, a beautiful physical environment, and access to world-class health care among other things.

Overall, the term 'quality of life' is a bit tough to define, so for more reference, here's how the dictionary site, Britannica, defines it:  "The degree to which an individual is healthy, comfortable, and able to participate in or enjoy life events."
