These 7 Minnesota Cities Have the Best Quality of Life in the U.S.
These seven cities here in Minnesota have just been recognized for setting the gold standard when it comes to quality of life.
Minnesota is, of course, the Land of 10,000 Lakes, but in addition to those pristine bodies of water, we're also known for having a high quality of life, right? We're routinely noted as a state where we have a high quality of education, a beautiful physical environment, and access to world-class health care among other things.
Overall, the term 'quality of life' is a bit tough to define, so for more reference, here's how the dictionary site, Britannica, defines it: "The degree to which an individual is healthy, comfortable, and able to participate in or enjoy life events."

That seems to make sense. And according to this new survey from the number-crunchers over at LawnStarter, there are now seven cities here in Minnesota where you're most able to be healthy, comfortable, and able to participate in and enjoy life events.
To compile this list of the Leading U.S. Cities For Quality of Life, LawnStarter said they compared 500 of the biggest U.S. cities based on 16 categories. They looked at where each city ranked in categories like life expectancy, unemployment rates, state rankings of workers’ rights, and food security. Overall, the team said they examined 53 total categories and then created an overall score for each city.
