MN State Fair Update: Steve Miller Band Concert Now Canceled

If you are a planner and were hoping to have a date night at the Minnesota State Fair on August 28th, I hate to tell you this, but it was just cancelled. Your date isn't ghosting you. The band that was supposed to play that night just canceled because of "the weather".

Yes, the potential weather that will be happening in 42 days is the reason for this show being canceled.

You can't open up the news without seeing how our world has been hit with countless natural disasters this past year. Devastating tornadoes destroying parts of towns, fatal flash floods like the recent tragedy in Texas, and untamable fires that have wiped out thousands of homes and famous landmarks, like the Grand Canyon Lodge.

Mother Nature does what she wants, when she wants, and due to that risk, a popular band has just canceled all of their shows, including their stop at the Minnesota State Fair.

Steve Miller Band No Longer Performing At The Minnesota State Fair in 2025

According to WCCO, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Steve Miller Band, who was set to perform on August 28th at the Minnesota State Fair, has stated it is "not safe to tour Earth".
