2023 South Dakota Chislic Festival Vendor Spots All Full

It's just about time to celebrate South Dakota's State Nosh Chislic! We are just days away from the 2023 South Dakota Chislic Festival!

Lots of people not from South Dakota don't know what Chislic is. But in South Dakota, it is our State Nosh and it's delicious!

Wikipedia defines Chislic as “a dish consisting of skewered cubes of red meat, usually mutton or lamb, although game meats such as venison and even beef steak can be used.

Most commonly associated with the state of South Dakota, chislic was declared the official state "nosh" in March 2018.”

The 5th Annual South Dakota Chislic Festival is coming up Saturday, July 29 at the Prairie Arboretum in Freeman.

The 2023 Chislic Festival will be a day filled with food, beverages, activities, and entertainment for all ages.

However, if you are looking to get a spot as a food vendor you are too late. All the spots have been filled.

Not great news if you wanted to be a food vendor, but good news if you are looking forward to lots of awesome festival eats!
