When you think of Budweiser, what do you think of? For most people, the first thing that comes to their mind is the Budweiser Clydesdales. We just heard word, the Budweiser Clydesdales are coming to Sioux Falls. This is your opportunity to get up close and see 'how big the horses are!
The Anheuser-Busch Budweiser Clydesdales are a beloved American symbol, renowned for their impressive size, grand wagon, and stunning presentation. They hold a place among the most globally recognized corporate icons. From June 16th to June 18th, the Budweiser Clydesdales will be visiting the area.
Each horse in the hitch is truly magnificent on its own, but together they create a truly stunning sight. These horses require a substantial amount of food and water, with each consuming up to 60 pounds of hay and 30 gallons of water per day. The beer wagon they pull is a beautifully restored antique from the turn of the century, which has been lovingly cared for. And, to complete the iconic image, a Dalmatian dog can often be seen perched on top of the wagon, acting as a loyal companion to the driver. - On June 16th from 4-6 pm, stop by Hy-Vee on Louise Avenue.
- On June 17th, you can see the full eight-horse hitch during the Tea Pot Day parade.
- On June 18th, head over to Huset's Speedway for the Father's Day races where the Budweiser hitch will also be present from 4-6 pm.
