iPhone Users With Limited Data, Listen Up!
Have you updated your iPhone to iOS9 yet? I just did today and I've heard rumblings on the world wide web that iPhone users have had a few issues.
One issue that could cost you a lot of money, can actually be solved really easily.
'Wi-Fi Assist' is automatically turned on in the update and will switch to the cell network if it detects an unstable wi-fi connection. Sounds harmless right? Sounds like Siri is just looking out for you, right?
Nope. If you have limited data, this is bad news bears.
But luckily, all you have to do is:
1. Open settings on your iPhone.
2. Choose the cellular menu.
3. Then scroll to the bottom.
4. When you see 'Wi-Fi Assist,' simply shut it off.
You're Welcome.
