Iowa Brothers Arrested in Fight Over Sandwich

And in the early lead for dumbest reason for going to jail in 2014: an Iowa man has been arrested for fighting with his brother over a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Did we forget to mention that the men are in their FIFTIES?!?

Jerome Davis was arrested for holding a knife to his brother's face after the brother accused him of eating too many peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

The accuser told police that Davis made three sandwiches and less than an hour later, went to make another one.

I don't know whether to shake my head over the stupidity or go read more of the police blotter because the comedy in there is better than 'Saturday Night Live'.
