If You Miss Woofstock 2014 Your Dog Won’t Be The Only One Howling

Is there a better way to spend a crisp, Sunday afternoon in the fall, than hanging with man's best friend and his buddies and their best friends? I think not. That is why you should know about "Woofstock 2014"!

It is coming up on Sunday, October 5th from 1 to 4 p.m. at Spencer Park, just off of Cliff Avenue and is sponsored in part by Coca-Cola. This fun festival for pooches and their owners offers the opportunity to show off talent and socialize with other Sioux Falls dog lovers.

Registration starts at 12:45 and the event is free. Once you register your furry buddy you can join in the canine games like musical chairs and frisbee tossing. There will be a dog costume contest, (among others), a DJ with live music, vendor booths, a canine agility course that your pup can show off in and more.There will also be face-painting for kids, door prizes and treats for your pooch, too!
