Let me start with...I love kitchen gadgets.  I love to cook.  I love to eat.  And I loves me anything that enables me to be a bit of creativity in the galley.

The latest addition to gallery of appliances is Seth McQinn's CanCooker Jr.  It's like a combination between a crockpot and a pressure cooker.

All you do is throw in your veggies, meat, spices, and 12 ounces of any fluid into the cooker.  You could use 12 ounces chicken stock, Strawberry Soda, or even Grain Belt Premium.  It has a little rack on the bottom to keep your food from burning and sticking.

The first thing I prepared in the CanCooker Jr. was some delicious Iowa Pork Chops I imported from my Mom & Dad's place...in Iowa.  I wasn't srewin' around.

I followed the directions and brought the pot to a steam and then backed the heat down a bit and let it go for another 45 minutes.

It turned out fantastic!  I can't wait to use it during our upcoming Minnesota Yurt winter camp out at Glendalough State Park.

I will lovingly house my CanCooker Jr. right next to my 4 crock pots, Ninja Blender, Panini Press, and Breville Fountain Juicer.
