Hometown Tuesday: R-Wine Bar

You're probably thinking, "She's covering another wine place?!"  Well, you're not entirely wrong.

Located in Downtown Sioux Falls on E. 8th Street, the R-Wine Bar gives you a little taste of Italy.  One of the owners, Riccardo Tarabelsi, was born in Florence, Italy.  Riccardo grew up in Boston and moved to Sioux Falls with his wife Marybeth, who is a Sioux Falls native.

No matter if you have a taste for something sweet or dry, the R-Wine Bar has an extensive wine selection for people to take a sip or two.  Besides having amazing wine, their menu features all kinds of classic Italian meals like a Traditional Caprese or a Chicken Parmigiana Panino.

Once Miranda and I heard this new restaurant was opening, we went to go try the R-Wine Bar that week. The service was great just like the wine and food.  The Traditional Caprese and the cheese board are some of my favorites on the menu, especially if you're just hungry for a little snack.

But the coolest part is when you get your check.  Now you're really thinking I'm crazy, but it's true.  They give you a wine cork to sign your name and drop it in a container to show you were there.

The R-Wine Bar is a great addition to the downtown area.  It hits the spot.
