Grace Slick isn't making music anymore, but she's still creating art -- and some of it ties into one of her biggest hits as a singer.

The former Jefferson Airplane and Starship frontwoman has an exhibit of her new paintings opening September 21st at Gallery 319 in Woodland Hills, California. Grace will be on hand for the opening reception that day, and she'll debut a new series of paintings called California Wonderland, which tells her own story through the Alice in Wonderland characters that inspired her 1967 Airplane hit "White Rabbit."
