Eric Clapton did something on Saturday that he hadn't since the mid '90s -- he left "Layla" out of his set list.

It happened at his show in Houston, the second on his 50 Years Further on Up the Road tour in support of his new album, Old Sock. He opened again with "Hello Old Friend," which he hadn't featured in a live set since 1976, but "Layla" was dropped for first time since his From the Cradle blues tour in 1994-95.

At Sunday's show in Austin, Clapton was joined by Jimmie Vaughan on "Black Cat Bone," and "Lay Down Sally" was added -- and "Layla" came back. Show number-four is Tuesday in Dallas.
