Downtown Sioux Falls Sidewalk Arts Festival Is This Saturday
Here's another sure sign that summer is drawing to a close, the annual Sidewalk Arts Festival is making its return to the Sioux Empire this Saturday (September 11) from 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM on the streets surrounding the Washington Pavilion.
Whether you're in the market for an elaborate original piece of art, or just some unique looking knick-knacks, art lovers of all kinds, can discover all Sioux Falls has to offer when it comes to arts and crafts this Saturday in downtown.
This free outdoor event is both kid and pet friendly, and will feature more than 240 vendor booths showcasing the region's best fine art, folk art, and craft artisans merchandise.
In addition to the wonderful variety of handmade arts and crafts pieces for sale that day, the event will also feature a ton of different activities for kids, plus live entertainment and food vendors galore!
Speaking of food, make sure to bring your appetite. There will be a variety of food trucks set up around the event. If food trucks aren't your thing, Leonardo's Café inside the Washington Pavilion will also be open from 11:00-2:00 PM on Saturday, serving up their famous mouth-watering sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, and flatbreads.
The Sioux Falls Sidewalk Arts Festival has quickly become this regions largest one-day arts festival. The event is also a big fundraiser for the Visual Arts Center at the Washington Pavilion.
