One of downtown Sioux Falls' busiest restaurants has been riding quite a wave of momentum lately.

It all began back in October when Chef Lance's on Phillips made the announcement that they were expanding their hours to include lunch service at their Phillips Avenue and 5th Street location.

The restaurant's fans were even more elated earlier this year when Chef Lance's was named the 2025 Downtown Sioux Falls Burger Battle winner with their Cuban Burger.

After all of that, Chef Lance White is now trying to catch his breath. And as part of that process, he's made the difficult decision to scale things back a bit.

Beginning in early March, the restaurant will go back to serving dinner only, Tuesday- Saturday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The last day to grab lunch at Chef Lance's is March 1.

Do You Remember These Closed Sioux Falls Restaurants?

Tasty restaurants have come and gone over the years. Unfortunately, some of these restaurants were our favorites and we still crave their food.

What I wouldn't do for one more Monte Cristo sandwich from Benningan's, or a Porky Calzone from Zaroty Pizza Kitchen.

Here's a list of several of our favorite Sioux Falls restaurants that have closed. Oh, we know there are many more. If we missed your favorite, make sure you send us a message or check out this story on our Facebook page and comment.
