It looks as though Styx, REO Speedwagon and Ted Nugent are planning another run of dates next summer on their Midwest Rock n' Roll Express tour.

REO singer Kevin Cronin confirmed the news and also says REO is recording new music. He says, "We love playing the hits as much as you all love to hear them, but we need to have a new song or two to add to the set list so we can express what we are feeling now!"

REO's last album was 2007's Find Your Own Way Home.

Bad Company and Lynyrd Skynyrd are also planning a co-headlining tour in the U.S. next year.
