Now you can add another Minnesota creation to the list and this one may be the most bizarre of them all.
Twin Cities scientist Caleb Olson has created what he calls the 'Poopcopter' - the world’s first aerial bound dog doo removal system.
Olson has programmed a drone to remotely search for canine waste in specific areas defined by users. After the offending material is discovered, the drone the swoops in and whisks it off to a designated drop off location.
The Poopcopter is still in prototype form, but Olson did get a chance to show off his creation at last week's MinneDemo40 event:
