Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen will make a guest appearance on American Pickers.

The History Channel show follows antique dealers Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, and on March 11th, it will highlight Rick's Picks, Nielsen's exhibit of guitars and memorabilia at the Burpee Museum of Natural History in his hometown of Rockford, Illinois.

Wolfe says, "We were all three bitten by the same crazy bug early on in life and it’s amazing how quickly it brought us together when we went to Rick’s exhibit in Rockford. That’s when the picks really started flying.”

Fritz adds, “Seeing Rick’s exhibit was truly mind-boggling. For me, as a nearly lifelong Cheap Trick fan, I was in heaven. And, then, to dig even deeper with Rick himself –- well, we can’t wait for the nation to see what we picked out of Rick’s storage lockers. Mike and I drove away from Rockford very, very happy.”

And Nielsen says, "Frank and Mike can rummage through my collection any day." But he didn't say if he would sell anything.

Frank was in Sioux Falls in February at the annual Winterfest of Wheels car show and Crash got to spend a little time with him. Read more about that here.
