Patty Dee has been happily hanging out with Ben Davis every weekday morning for almost 30 years. She celebrated her 44th year in radio in August of 2023. As part of the Ben & Patty duo, she has been honored with an induction into the South Dakota Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and multiple Local Best Morning Show awards dating back to 2007. If you had told Patty she'd be doing a radio show with the same hilarious guy for 30 years, she would have laughed in your face, because everything prior to radio, pointed to an acting career. She lives in Sioux Falls with her crazy cat Luigi, but visits her family in Montana whenever she can. The reason was, that radio was only going to be a short-term job until I got enough cash to move to New York or L.A. to follow the path I had been sure would be mine, since the age of five - -acting. But it was encouraging (to me and my parents) that I was capable of doing something else. A summer, became a year, a year became many...and so the story goes. My vantage point now is one of gratitude. Grateful for the gifts that have been bestowed on me, from the world's funniest human and best buddy, who still allows me to spend four hours in radio heaven with him every day, to the best, most dedicated, supportive listeners any station could ask for. Ben and I are blessed, and we know it!
