Joe Perry tells us the second leg of Aerosmith's Global Warming Tour is set and they expect to make the announcement any day now.

The band just received the routing for the October-through-early-December dates, and Perry says it looks as though Cheap Trick will once again open, although he's not 100 percent certain. The tour is in support of their new album, Music From Another Dimension, in stores on November 6th.

Steven Tyler was on the FOX lot in Hollywood this week voicing his character for Epic, an animated 3D movie from the team behind the blockbusters Ice Age and Rio. He plays a character named Num Galoo. Epic is slated for release next May.

Joe Perry on whether or not Cheap Trick will open for Aerosmith on the fall leg of their tour:
"As far as I know, Cheap Trick's ready and all set to go. I mean, when I said 'bye' at the last show, it was like, 'I'll see you in a few weeks.' So I guess it's about as positive as it could get."
