The Big Sioux River is WAY down compared to years past and officials are concerned it could slow even more.

Big Sioux River levels have dropped enough that the city has enacted Stage 2 water restrictions… That means people can water once per week.  You’ve been advised.

Stage Two restrictions will take place once the river flow rate reaches 50 cubic feet per second (CFS). Stage Two will limit lawn watering to one day per week based on the last number of the address.
