Trans Siberian Orchestra is part symphony and part 80s heavy metal band melded together to perform a holiday concert for the 21st century.

TSO started 2014 performing in Berlin for two million fans and will wrap the year performing the only rock opera from their trilogy that has never been performed live: The Christmas Attic.

But don't worry fans! The second half of the incredible show will also include your all-time favorites like 'Wizards in Winter' and 'Christmas Eve in Sarajevo'.

The Christmas Attic will also be re-released to coincide with the tour, complete with downloadable bonus tracks, as well as a special vinyl edition. The album's (and stage production's) narrative begins on Christmas Eve, when a young girl's curiosity leads her to a night of mischief and magic. She decides to sneak up into the attic of her parents' home while she should be asleep and there discovers a magical doorway to the past in the form of a mysterious trunk filled with ornaments, toys, old records and bundles of handwritten letters. A startling discovery in one of the letters, leads to an unlikely adventure.

I've been fortunate to see TSO three times over the past several years and will be at the Mid America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa Thursday, November 13th for the tour kick off once again. The stage show is something ANY music fan should experience and with an all -new, never-before-seen show, this is going to be one you won't want to miss!

Tickets are $42-$71 and are available at ticketmaster.

And listen to B102.7 for a chance to WIN a pair of tickets to see the tour kick off next month!
