With summer tour season over, Ted Nugent is turning his attention to his other passion: hunting. And that means it's time for a trek to Yankton, South Dakota for the fourth annual Kamp for Kids event at the Yankton Archery Complex.

The event was open for kids 7-17 years old and they got to participate in archery, air rifles, trap shooting, fishing, slingshots, geo-caching, and more, with Nugent leading the group.

Nugent says, “In 1989, we created our beloved Ted Nugent Kamp for Kids as a nonprofit 501C3 charity to attract American children into that higher level of awareness that is the discipline of the shooting sports and an outdoor lifestyle that I, and so many families, celebrate and cherish daily.”

B102.7 listener Jake Law was at Dakota Archery in Yankton Saturday afternoon and happened to run into Uncle Ted.
