The Talking Heads’ 1984 concert film, Stop Making Sense, is the best concert film ever made according to the U.K.'s Total Film magazine. Directed by Jonathan Demme, the magazine says the reason why it chose it as the best is because Demme "captures the innovative staging of a Talking Heads gig, from solo performance to full band to David Byrne dancing in an oversized suit." The Band's swan song, The Last Waltz, filmed in 1976, was number-two followed by The Rolling Stones' Gimme Shelter from 1970. Rounding out the Top 20 are:

4) Woodstock (1970)

5) Awesome; I F**king Shot That! (2006 - Beastie Boys)
