Legendary progressive rocker Greg Lake has released a new live album culled from his 2012 tour dates in the U.S., U.K. and Italy. Titled 'Songs of a Lifetime,' the new collection features a cross section of Lake's hits performed in an intimate solo show in which the singer-songwriter also shared stories from his long career.

Trent Reznor has added members of Jane's Addiction and King Crimson to a retooled new edition of Nine Inch Nails, a process Reznor says started with a friendly phone call to Crimson legend Adrian Belew.

For years, bands have recorded cover songs as a way of paying tribute to their influences (although not always with good results). But the Flaming Lips have taken it one step further. They have recorded a song-for-song remake of King Crimson's debut, 'In the Court of the Crimson King.'
