Taco Bell Enters Breakfast Battle

The fast food breakfast sandwich battles are cutthroat, but Taco Bell is coming out fists flying, hoping their newest creation will give them an advantage over their competitors.

The Waffle Taco makes its official nationwide debut today (Thursday). It's everything you never knew you wanted – a lightly fried waffle filled with scrambled eggs and sausage, served with a side of syrup and folded up like a taco.

Test markets in Southern California really liked the new creation, so Taco Bell execs are hoping to give the McGriddle and Dunkin' Donuts' glazed doughnut egg sandwich something to worry about.
