South Dakota Big Game Management To Be Discussed This Week

The South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks Commission will hear a report about its Big Game Management Policies and Practices Thursday in Spearfish.

Governor Dennis Daugaard selected Wildlife Management Institute, an independent contractor/consultant to identify strengths and weaknesses of the current system and to provide recommendations.

The report will be presented at the  GF&P Commission meeting at 1pm MDT Thursday Oct. 3rd, at the Holiday Inn in Spearfish. The Meeting is open to the public. The Holiday Inn is just east of Spearfish, off Interstate 90 at 305 N. 27th St.
