Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators have released "Mind Your Manners," a new song from their upcoming album, Living the Dream.

“Mind Your Manners” is a typically riff-heavy track featuring an intense vocal performance by Kennedy and a patented fleet-fingered solo from Slash.

You can hear “Mind Your Manners” below.

According to Slash, “Mind Your Manners” was among the first songs the band worked on in the sessions that produced Living the Dream.

“I wrote this song on the spot to help the band get up and running once we got back in the studio this past January,” he told Classic Rock. “It’s just a go-for-it type of song. Pretty straightforward rock and fun to play.” “Lyrically, it’s about how when things are going well there always tends to be someone who tries to rain on your parade and knock you down,” Kennedy added. “You have to keep people like that in check and not let them get to you.”

“Mind Your Manners” is the second track Slash has revealed from Living the Dream, which hits stores and streaming outlets Sept. 21. In late July, “Driving Rain” gave listeners the first preview of the follow-up to 2014’s World on Fire.

Slash will support Living the Dream with a tour with Kennedy and the Conspirators that kicks off Sept. 13 at the famed Whiskey A Go Go club in Los Angeles, and, at present, is scheduled to end with a date at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, Calif., on Oct. 14.

Slash’s other band, Guns N’ Roses, recently ended another leg of dates on their ongoing Not in This Lifetime Tour. The band is scheduled to perform next on Nov. 25 as part of a Grand Prix racing event in Abu Dhabi.
