Scorpions Unplugged

The Scorpions will play three acoustic shows in Athens, Greece -- and they'll record them for MTV.

The shows -- on September 11th, 12th and 14th -- are billed as MTV Unplugged - Scorpions Live in Athens, and will be the first MTV Unplugged episode taped in Greece and the first taped outdoors. The band says, "MTV Unplugged was already top on our wish list, and therefore we have gladly accepted the offer to stage these concerts as part of our farewell tour. We are [happy to be working] together with MTV on this very special event in Athens."

MTV Unplugged - Scorpions Live in Athens will be released at the end of the year on CD, DVD and Blu-ray.
