Rod Stewart's first-ever holiday album will be a star-studded affair. Due October 30th Merry Christmas, Baby features Michael Buble, Mary J. Blige, Cee-Lo Green -- and a very special "virtual duet" with the late Ella Fitzgerald.

•Michael Buble duets with Rod on "Winter Wonderland."
•Mary J. Blige joins Rod on "We Three Kings."
•Cee-Lo Green duets with Stewart on "Merry Christmas, Baby" -- New Orleans horn standout Trombone Shorty also appears on that track.
•Saxman Dave Koz backs Rod on "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow."
•In a process similar to how Natalie Cole has joined her father Nat on several productions, Ella Fitzgerald and Rod duet on "What Are You Doing Christmas Eve," which also features trumpeter Chris Botti.
•There's one original number: "Red-Suited Super Man," was co-written by Rod Stewart with David Foster and Amy Foster.
•The album leans in the traditional groove, as Rod performs "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town," Irving Berlin's "White Christmas,"  "Blue Christmas," "When You Wish Upon A Star," "Silent Night," and "Auld Lang Syne."
