Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen is up for an award, but not for his music. He has been nominated for a Lincoln Award, which honors tourism in his home state of Illinois.

Nielsen is being recognized for his Rick’s Picks guitar and memorabilia exhibit at the Burpee Museum of Natural History in Rockford. The award is part of the Excellence in Tourism Awards that will be given out February 27th in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont. The Nielsen exhibit runs through April 10th.

Rick’s Picks will be featured as part of the History Channel’s American Pickers episode on March 11th.
