Rainbow will release a live CD next month.

Captured in Düsseldorf, Germany on October 9th, 1995, this show has been widely bootlegged. It was the only performance of the last incarnation of Rainbow — which featured lead singer Doogie White — to be recorded on video professionally, as it was done for the German TV show Rockpalast. In addition to playing many Rainbow staples, Ritchie Blackmore tossed in a few cuts from his Deep Purple days, including “Smoke on the Water” and “Perfect Strangers.”

It will be out on CD and DVD as well as digitally on August 27th.
