Police Say Sioux Falls Man Was ‘Kicked When He Was Down’
To hear Sioux Falls police tell it, it was a case of kicking a man when he's down.
Officers were called shortly before 6pm Tuesday to the 600 block of North Franklin Avenue.
Officer Sam Clemens says a boyfriend and girlfriend had been arguing, and the boyfriend was curled up on the ground as his girlfriend kicked him in the head.
Clemens says Talia Garreau, 24, was charged with aggravated assault-domestic.
He says her 25-year-old boyfriend was on the ground and trying to call 911 when Garreau was punching and kicking him.
The victim, who was not seriously injured, called police again when Garreau returned around 6:30pm.
