Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard has narrowed the window in which the band's 10th studio album might be released, estimating that it will come out sometime between November 2013 and February 2014. According to Grunge Report, Gossard told an Italian radio station, "I cannot tell you an exact date, but if all goes according to plan, we will have a new Pearl Jam album in nine or twelve months."

The group has been sending mixed signals for much of the past year about the status of its new record, with bassist Jeff Ament and singer Eddie Vedder both suggesting that the band was roughly halfway through the writing process, yet also revealing that the five members had spent a lot of time apart as well.

But Loudwire reported recently that the band had met with producer Brendan O'Brien, which could indicate that a timetable was coming into focus.

The group has also begun scheduling live dates for later in the year, including a show at Chicago's legendary Wrigley Field.

Pearl Jam's last set of all-new music, Backspacer, arrived in 2009.
