Grand Theft Auto V has been released – and the amount of money at stake is staggering.

It cost $266 million to produce, which makes it more expensive than every Hollywood blockbuster ever made with the exception of the last Pirates of the Caribbean film, which cost roughly $300 million to make.

But even more incredible than the production costs are the potential profits.

Industry insiders say the game will earn $1.5 billion before it’s all said and done.
