The Brennan Rock & Roll Academy opened it's doors the end of March 2013 for Boys & Girls Club members in Sioux Falls and has been making a splash ever since and making a difference in kids lives every day. Saturday (July 20) was no different as the members of KISS (Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer) stopped by on their way to headline Rock Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin to have the four rehearsal rooms dedicated in their honor.

This was singer Paul Stanley's first trip to the Academy (Simmons, Thayer and Singer were all here the last week of March at different times during the grand opening week) He was impressed with the facilities and the dedication that founder Chuck Brennan had put into the facility to give back to the community he grew up in. Stanley was so impressed that he told us that every child who signs up for the Boys & Girls Club before the end of 2013 so they can take lessons at the Academy, will have their membership paid for by KISS!

Here are the interviews we got to do with KISS. I found them to be very genuine, humble rock stars that were excited about helping kids and giving them a positive alternative to the temptations that are out there.
